Yesterday marked an exciting milestone for the future of solar roofing in America. Members of the ArcEdge team, Phil Johnson, Mike Ewers, and Russ Newton, had the privilege of joining President of Estonia Alar Karis, Ambassador Kristjan Prikk, and Greg Grace from Roofit.Solar at the Transatlantic Innovation: ClimateTech Solutions for a Resilient Future event in New York City.
The event, organized by the Estonian Investment Agency (EIS), brought together innovators and decision-makers from both sides of the Atlantic to explore climate technology solutions that are shaping a more sustainable future.
During the discussion, ArcEdge and Roofit.Solar shared insights into their collaborative expansion into the U.S. market — highlighting how integrated solar roofing is transforming the clean-energy landscape. Unlike traditional solar panels, Roofit.Solar’s system merges elegant standing-seam metal roofing with hidden photovoltaic technology, creating a seamless and durable energy-producing roof that redefines what solar can look like.
“It’s a privilege to stand alongside leaders and innovators who share a vision for practical, beautiful sustainability,” said Phil Johnson of ArcEdge. “This partnership represents more than a product launch; it’s a step toward resilient, energy-independent communities.”
ArcEdge, the official U.S. partner for Roofit.Solar is spearheading the product’s debut with the first U.S. installation now underway. The company’s mission is to make advanced, design-driven solar roofing accessible for American homeowners, builders, and developers alike.
The collaboration between Estonia and the United States represents a shared commitment to innovation, resilience, and environmental stewardship and ArcEdge is proud to be part of that story.
