Roof solutions

Solar and a green roof, on the same roof.

Vertical panels let light and rain reach the plants, so the roof keeps doing its job.

The problem

Conventional tilted panels shade the vegetation and usually have to be designed in before the green roof is built. An existing green roof needs a system that leaves room for the plants and for maintenance.

What we recommend

Over Easy Solar with the BIO 120 foot for sedum roofs or the BIO 300 foot for intensive green roofs.

Why it fits

  • Can be added to an existing extensive green roof
  • Plants keep growing between and beneath the rows
  • No penetrations through the waterproofing
  • Open rows make roof maintenance easy

Vegetation taller than the clearance under the panels will shade them; tell us what is planted and we will recommend the right foot height.
