We work with roofing contractors who want to install integrated solar metal roofs. If you already do standing-seam work, or you're ready to, and you have an electrician you trust, we'd like to hear from you. Tell us where you operate and what you install now, and we'll take it from there.
Apply to Become an Installation PartnerWho this suits
Metal roofers, first of all. The panels are a standing-seam roof covering, and the skills that make a good metal roofer are the ones that matter here: accurate layout, clean flashing, patience at the edges. Solar companies with a roofing arm fit too. So do general contractors who run both trades in-house.
What you'd be installing
Standing-seam metal roofing with photovoltaics built into the panels, alongside matching panels without cells. You can see the product on our solar roof panels page.
See the panelsHow we'd work together
It starts with a conversation about your company and your area. Before a first job, we go through the system and its installation instructions with your crew. On the job, we work from one layout drawing that both the roofers and the electrician use. Ask us about training, support and how projects are assigned when you apply. We'd rather explain it to you directly than put a promise on a web page.
What to tell us when you apply
- Where you work
- What kind of roofing you do most
- How large your crew is
- Whether you have an electrician in-house or a partner
- Any integrated solar or metal roofing work you've already done
Questions we get asked
Do I need solar experience?
Not necessarily. Roofing skill comes first. The electrical work is done by a qualified electrician.
Is there training?
Yes, we go through the system with your crew before a first installation. Ask us for the details when you apply.
Do you give partners a territory?
Ask us about your area. We'll tell you how it works where you are.
Will you send us jobs?
That depends on your area and on what's coming in. We'll be straight with you about it when we talk.
